1. First of all, log into your Joomla 2.5 administrator backend and click on Users -> User Manager on the top:

   

2. Click on Options icon in the top right:

   

3. In the User Configuration window, click on the Component tab, set the following value: Allow User Registration – Yes and click on Save&Close button:

   

4. Next, we have to add a new module in Modules Manager section.

5. Click on Extensions > Module Manager and then on the New button in the top right:

   

6. In the window – Select Module Type, select Module Type – Login:

   

7. In the Module Manager: Module Login set title, position and other needed values. Click on Save button:

   

Now you can refresh your Joomla 2.5 website frontpage and you will see a new Login module you created.
