Joomla 3.x. How to manage AddThis social icons based on profile ID

This tutorial shows how to manage AddThis social icons based on profile ID in Joomla 3.x templates:

1. Log into admin section, go to Extensions – Plugin manager. Find TM AddThis plugin and open it:

   

2. We can see Profile ID in settings. Basically, we should provide new Profile ID in order to change AddThis social share icons:

   

3. Go to AddThis web site and register free account. Select Basic (free) plan. Exit from settings:

   

4. Go to Tools section. Find FREE Sharing buttons tool and click on Get Code:

   

5. Set size of icons and counter features:

   

6. In Services section you should select Select Your Own option. Drag the desired Services to Select Services section:

   

7. Scroll down and click Activate:

   

8. Now we should get Profile ID. Click on Settings:

   

9. Copy the code to txt file:

   

10. Now we should copy Profile ID. Please check the screenshot. You will see how Profile ID looks:

    

11. Paste your Profile ID to TM AddThis plugin settings. Save changes:

    

12. Refresh the page. We have changed icons:
