Dynamic CSS is a general term that means a combination of technologies used to extend regular CSS functionality. By using Dynamic CSS one can introduce features of the server-sided programming languages, such as using CSS code dynamic rewriting and defining rules with variables and functions. The most common examples of Dynamic CSS languages are LESS and SASS.
