Hexadecimal color

Hexadecimal color codes are made up of three components, a RED value, a GREEN value and a BLUE value and each of the two-digit Hexadecimal color values are in the range 00…FF Hex (0…255 decimal).

Hexadecimal is a mathematical numbering system that is based on 16 symbols. This means that you have a set of base numbers (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F) and all hexadecimal numbers, no matter how large, are made up from these base numbers.

Hexadecimal colors are also known as webhex colors and Html color codes.
