K2

K2 is a popular Joomla extension, developed by JoomlaWorks team. It was created to let you replace default article structure in Joomla with advanced nested multi-level category structure of k2 items. This will let you organize site content in a professional way for different content types, e.g. creating custom content types for separate categories. In addition, K2 component includes easy-to-use media manager that allows you to manage site media content using drag-n-drop.

K2 is provided for free and is absolutely compatible with all Joomla! engine releases (1.5x, 2.5x, 3x).
