How it works
The service allows anyone to pay in any way they prefer, including through credit cards, bank accounts, PayPal Smart Connect or account balances.
In order to setup PayPal as the payment gateway, you will need to integrate it to your site using the correct PayPal extension integration which will take just a few minutes. You can use either the Website Payments Standard or Website Payments Pro PayPal offer.
Website Payments Standard is free and you’ll be able to accept all major credit cards, debit cards and bank transfers. Website Payments Standard is secure, and you don’t need a separate merchant account or gateway. Your customers will not need a PayPal account. Transaction fees are low.
Website Payments Pro will cost $30 a month and its advantage is that customers paying by credit card, will stay on your website for the entire transaction; PayPal is invisible.
You can read more about PayPal and its integration at their official site – https://www.paypal.com or in the respective engine forum section.
