PrestaShop. How to install Prestashop 1.5 engine

This tutorial will show you how to install Prestashop 1.5 engine to your server.

First of all you need to download the Prestashop engine from the official website at http://www.prestashop.com/ .

Upload the downloaded package to your server, using File Manager of your hosting control panel or any ftp software.

Extract the file on your server. Type your site url in the browser address bar to start Prestashop engine installation.

Choose your language, then you need to input your database details:database name, username, password and server.

Contact your hosting provider if you don’t have the details.

Input your store title and description.

Input the administrator login details. The Prestashop installation is almost complete.

You need to perform some tasks to improve your Prestashop store security:

Open the Prestashop installation directory and delete/rename the install folder.

Rename the admin folder.
