This tutorial shows how to configure Facebook login in Joomla Social Login component.

Joomla 3.x. How to configure Facebook login in “Joomla Social Login” component

You can use this component to Log into your Joomla admin panel using your social networks such as Facebook or Google+.

You can manage Facebook Login in Joomla admin panel under Components -> Social Login and Social Share tab:

In order to activate Facebook login in Joomla Social Login component, you should do the following:

1. You will need to generate Facebook App ID and App Secret.

2. In order to generate them, you should go to Facebook Developers page.

3. Log into your Facebook account and use green button in the top right to add new App:

   

4. Input display name, select category and use ‘Create App ID’ button to proceed:

   

5. You will see your App ID and App Secret in two fields at the top:

   

6. Copy App ID and App Secret into the Social Login and Social Share component in your Joomla admin:

   

7. Save changes using ‘Save’ button.
