We are glad to present you a tutorial that shows how to clear Magento cache in Magento 2 templates.
The Caching system of Magento 2 will help your store perform better and faster especially when you add lots of content to it.
In order to clear Magento cache, perform the following steps:
Login to your Magento Admin Panel.
Navigate to System>Cache Management section.
To clear the entire Magento 2 cache, click on the button titled Flush Magento Cache.
Let us define the types of cache that we have under cache management:
Configuration – flush it after modifying configuration files.
Layouts – flush it after modifying layout files.
Blocks HTML output – flush it after modifying the view layer of your store.
Collections Data – usually it is automatically cleaned by Magento, but sometimes custom modules may write entries which Magento will not be able to clean by itself, in those cases flush the cache manually.
Reflection Data – caches any API interfaces reflection data.
Database DDL operations – it is automatically cleaned by Magento.
EAV types and attributes – it collects metadata regarding the entity attributes.
Integrations Configuration – flush it after adding new or changing existing integrations.
Integrations API Configuration – it caches the API configuration of your Store’s Integrations.
Page Cache – flush it after making changing pages.
Translations – flush it after making translations from all modules.
Web Services Configuration – Caches the Web API Structure of your website.
Sometimes, you need to clear only one of the cache types. For example, when you have changed the content of a page, you will receive a notification regarding the change and a link to the Cache Manager so you can refresh the Page Cache.
Choose the Page Cache from the drop-down menu, select the Refresh option and click the Submit button.
