The template works just fine - like any other template.
Just be aware that you are not purchasing what you see: the eye-catchy header section is generated with slider revolution 6. Other than Elementor there is no free basic version available - so you are obliged to pay for another yearly pricing plan on top if you want your website to look similar to what you were thinking you have already paid for.
But of course you may use this theme without this particular slider ...
With update of this theme package we provide plugins version update especially Revolution Slider so, you can update old version plugin with new version from your store admin panel. As you told about Header and Footer section which built with Customizer. Revolution slider only help for slideshow display as you can see rotating banner on homepage.
With available free version of elementor you can manage this theme section and create new section as per your requirement but if you need elementor addons for your website then you have to purchase Elementor Pro version. But without purchase elementor pro version you can do much more. We provide 1-click import demo data feature with theme so, you can import this theme with sample data on your website with hassle free installation process
You are right, I apologize. It was a technical issue on my side and slider revolution works perfectly fine within the theme without additional purchases.
